I've used Trendy Twine for this project. I just love their twine!! Such lovely colours. I used three different colours here, one to represent each of my boys.
Inside the tin, are wee glass bottles. They first held glitter and flocking but after my boys played with them they magically were empty! :) Perfect for a "note in bottle" project.
The notes are tied up with the three colours of twine and each boy has a set of notes. The top is embellished with flowers and a pearl bling.
It was fun to look around and see what I could repurpose and also to use twine in a different way. Hope you will join us at Frosted Designs for the twine/ribbon challenge.
